To celebrate our collective success and the festival season, your Chapter’s managing Committee is very inviting you all at the Annual Conference (virtual) on October 16, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm (EST).  Please refer below for details around the Conference:

 

Schedule:

The Conference schedule includes:

  • 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm EST – Networking (Pre-session)
  • 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm EST – Speeches, Entertainment and Chapter Updates
  • 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm EST – Networking (Post session)

 

Speakers:

The Conference will include sessions by eminent industry leaders and dignitaries.  This year our special guests include:

  • Mr. Darryl White, CEO, Bank of Montreal Financial Group and Mr. Jad Shimaly, Chair & CEO, Ernst & Young Canada (our CEO Guests).  Mr. White and Mr. Shimaly’ s session will include his success story, key management lessons, expectations from today’s CFO given the evolving business dynamics and business needs.

 

  • Hon. Ajay Bisaria, High Commissioner of India to Canada. Mr. Bisaria will provide his thoughts on the India-Canada relations and growth potentials in trade and business partnerships.

 

  • Mr. Michael Torrance, Chief Sustainability Officer & Vice President, BMO Financial Group.  Mr. Torrance will share his insights on how organisations are developing sustainability strategy and leading initiatives on environmental and social risk, climate change strategy, ESG focused investor relations, sustainability related disclosure, operational sustainability and sustainable finance.   

 

  • Mr. Nihar Jambusaria, President, ICAI.  Mr. Jambusaria will share his thoughts on how CAs are connected globally and give his closing remarks.

 

  • Ms. Pravrajika Divyanandaprana, Spiritual Guru & International speaker.  Smt. Divyanandaprana will speak on topics like Mental Health & Wellbeing, subjective sciences.

 

  • Mr. Vishwanath Batunge, Playback Singer.  Entertainment session.

All Toronto Chapter member attendees are eligible to get C$25 E-vouchers subject to the following rules:

  • Only Toronto Chapter members are eligible for the e-vouchers
  • The Toronto Chapter member must register for 2021 Annual Conference on our Chapter Website @ https://www.icaitoronto.com/  [Registration closes on Thursday, October 14th]. The Chapter will not be in a position under any circumstances to include your name in the raffle draw if you register after Thursday, October 14th, 2021.
  • Attend the Conference on the virtual platform (Hopin) and respond to at least 3 polling questions that will be asked during the Conference.

 

 

What’s more and even better – Get an additional C$ 25 E-voucher:

All Toronto Chapter member attendees are eligible to get an additional E-voucher of C$ 25, if you confirm the following on the Hopin registration platform in addition to the requirements noted above [total E-vouchers for C$50 (C$ 25+C$ 25)]:

  • Downloaded the “ICAI Toronto” App (Toronto Chapter of ICAI App) on your mobile phone

 

Hopin registration link will be sent to all the members separately, but only those who register on our Chapter’s portal and respond to the polls during the conference will qualify for the e-vouchers.

 

E-vouchers will be emailed to you within 10 business days after the conference

 

IMPORTANT

Only the Registrants who register on the Chapter's website will be emailed a separate link of a new platform "HOPIN" one day prior to the event i.e. on October 15, 2021. You will be required to register on HOPIN and only then you will be allowed to enter the Conference.
